AVENUE Q is Broadway's smash-hit 2004 Tony AwardŽ
winner for BEST MUSICAL. A hilarious show (Trish has
seen it 3 times) full of heart and hummable tunes,
AVENUE Q is about trying to make it in NYC with big
dreams and a tiny bank account. Called "one of the
funniest shows you're ever likely to see", AVENUE Q
features a cast of people and puppets who tell the
story in a smart, risque and downright entertaining
way. Imagine Sesame Street for adults.
We are going to the Saturday matinee and thought it
would be easier if everyone bought their own tickets
(we already bought ours). That way everyone can pay
what they want and sit where they want. We would
suggest getting your tickets soon if you want good
seats; there are some still available.
We will meet 30 minutes before the show and at
intermission to socialize. After the show, we will go
for drinks and dinner downtown (exact location TBD).

Hope everyone is still ready for a great time this Saturday. We'll be doing the show and then dinner afterwards. We will meet you at 1:30 at the will-call/box office window located inside the theater building. Progress Energy Center is located at 2 East South Street, Raleigh , NC 27601.
Note: There is garage parking available, but we usually find a spot on the street. You can take your pick, but garage parking is $7 CASH ONLY. The ATM inside the theater was broken last time we were there, so if you'd like to enjoy snacks and a drink with the show or during intermission, you might want to bring some cash for that too.
We'll hang for about 30 minutes prior to the show, at the intermission, an then after the show we'll be headed to Bogart's on Glenwood for dinner at 5:00 (510 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh, NC 27603, 919-832-1122).
