It's the best time of the year - March Madness!!! Come out and meet everyone at Brick House to kick with some drinks, burgers and basketball. Will definitely be a good time... NOTE LOCATION CHANGE - Brick House on Bedford. I was able to reserve the front bar area for us. There will be a 42" plasma with the bball on. We can order some drinks, appetizers, & mingle. If people want to sit down for dinner later on in the evening, we can put our name down for some real tables - however, there are a few high top tables in the bar area that we can hang at. The reservation is for 7pm. Please edit your response if you are not coming, or are going to be late. The owner was really nice to reserve the bar area for us, and I want to let him know if our number has dropped or if we aren't going to be there until later. Pete and I commute from the city, so we may not be there right at 7 - but feel free to get the party started.

Hey everyone, We have had a lot of new members join in the past week and since out next dinner can only fit 12 people, I thought it would be fun to have a happy hour. One of the new memeber recommended the SkyBox, James and i have been there to play dart, it's usually a pretty fun.

Hi Everyone - it's your assistant organizer Marley! Jen received some great feedback on a wine tasting event so we thought it would be fun to have one where everyone got involved. Here's how it goes: once everyone has RSVP'd (pls do so by the 19th), I will email each couple with a color and region/varietal of wine to bring. Each couple should bring two bottles with them, and also perhaps a little bit of information about the wine- why you chose it (you liked the label/you have had it before/someone recommended it/etc!) and something about the area or process of making it. It doesn't have to be anything lengthy or involved so please don't feel you have to be a sommelier! For each wine we try, we'll also have a paired food to go with it - if you would like to bring an appetizer please let me know otherwise I'll have something ready. Brian and I are really looking forward to having the group over and learning more about wine! We're aiming to have it a bit on the earlier side since it will mostly be heavy apps - we live just a few blocks from the Crabshell/Paradise so we'll likely head over there afterwards (especially if the weather is nice). Hope you can come!

Let's get together (or should I say meet-up) and enjoy the best Tuscan cuisine Stamford has to offer. Siena was rated by Zagat as "Excellent". This restaurant was recommended by a personal friend of mine and I have been wanting to try it for some time now. They have an extensive wine list and are in a great location, right in the heart of downtown Stamford! The manager has promised "antipasti" and "fresh pasta"... Can't wait to try it!
