Most of the Meetup groups are either not very couple friendly or are oriented towards only one activity. Why should single people have all the fun? We can do a variety of activities too. Let's prove that couples can do other things besides just sit home and watch TV. The Raleigh area is an awesome place to live with lots of things to see and do. Let's take advantage of it, meet other couples and have fun doing so.
Are you right for this group? Answer the following questions.
Are you both a committed couple? Are you both new to the area? All your friends have kids and you both don't? Are you empty nesters that want to take this time in your life to do those things you haven't been able to until now? Are you empty nesters and can't stop staring at the walls? Do you have kids at home and can't remember the last adult activity you enjoyed? Do you just want to meet other couples to make new friends, have fun times with and be more active?
Rules for membership
1. You MUST be a couple - committed to each other
2. All alcohol will be BYOB and drinkers should be responsible and not drive while intoxicated.
3. All the events will be adults only, unless otherwise specified.
4. A "Yes" RSVP for an event means you will be there. If you cannot attend you should change your RSVP no sooner than 3 days before an event. In many cases food/supplies will be purchased by organizers/hosts or reservations will be made. The amount of food/supplies or reservations is based on the number of people attending. If you absolutely cannot attend and it is within the 3 days you should call the organizer/host in charge of the event as soon as possible. Repeated "no shows" will be asked to comply. If , after that, they still don't attend or call they will be subject to immediate termination. 5. Be respectful of others by being courteous and considerate. Leave your prejudices at the door. All are welcome.

There will be get-togethers for all budgets and social/age/interest levels. If there is something you would like to do as a group please contact the Organizers.
There will be a $2.00 per couple event fee for certain events to help cover the cost of food and/or other supplies. Check event for details.
