First I'd like to thank Yvonne and Caroline for hosting a fun game night with food for this weekend.

Many organizers and asst. organizers are plagued by some members who sign up and either forget or just don't change their RSVP. This is a continuing problem nation wide and many groups have instituted some rules for attending the events.

Whether it's me or an assistant - we have spend lots of time, effort, (sometimes personal money) and work getting an activity/event set up. While we know most of you really appreciate what we do, it only takes just a minute to change your RSVP and let that organizer know that you will not make it for that event/activity.

The meetup organizers all over have started to have the 3X & you are out - just like Baseball. 3 strikes you're out!!!!!!! If you RSVP for an event/activity and do not show or don't change your RVSP at least the day before you will be not only removed from the event but removed from the group. We realize that there are sometimes compelling reasons someone can't make it - let us know and we will look at each case by case.

When you are a yes RSVP & the organizer asks you to confirm before food is bought etc. You need to confirm to that host not me. If you do not confirm then you will be removed from the list and someone on the waiting list moves up. It's only fair and easy to follow the rules.

I know most of you are very good about this and this is not directed towards you. Thank you for your consideration; we really appreciate your following the directions, keeping the RSVP list current and when you can't make it for some reason, letting us know.
