About The Orange County Couples Meetup Group

New couples wishing to join this group will need to apply for membership. Just a simple form to answer about your profile, interests and status as a couple. We also request that you post a picture of the both of you as soon as possible.Thanks.

Please note: this is a couples group, children of any age are not allowed at events or activities. Although we love kids, this is adult time for couples only.

Our group consists of couples, married or not, we are planning many activities that everyone will enjoy. If you are looking for a nice group of people who want to make new friends, you have come to the right place. We share fun events, experience new activities or just enjoy the old faithful time honored ones.

Getting together at least twice a month doing things such as: dining out, wine tasting, bowling, sporting events, dancing, movies, date nights, biking, hiking (easy fun hikes), walks on the beach, kayaking, game nights, BBQ's, day trips, and so much more. We are only limited by our imagination.

It needs to be said so here goes:
If you are single or not in a committed relationship or if you are wanting to swing or something along those lines, this is not the group for you. (No funny business here!) We hope you will join us for dinner, movies, and much more fun!

Orange County Couples group rules & questions

Who can join us?
We welcome all couples to attend our meetings. We are looking for active people who
will participate in our events. Using the message board you can communicate with
everyone in the group.

We are friendly, happy and easy going people without drama and agendas. We welcome the same type of people to join us.

What do I need to do to be active?
All new members need to fill out your profile completely once you join. We want to get to
know you and this helps us do that. Please post a photo as soon as you can. That way
we can recognize you at events.

Attend an event within the first 30 days of joining. Once you have attended an event then you can come as your schedule dictates. If you do not come to an event or meeting then you will be removed after 30 days. You can rejoin once your schedule allows you to be an active member.

RSVP - means please respond even if you can't attend. When we see you have rsvp'ed Yes then we plan on you being there. Some events have a limit or need to be confirmed based on our information. We appreciate your consideration of this rule.

Can I host an event or propose one?
Absolutely Yes!!!!!!! We want your input and suggestions for activities and events. We encourage you to participate as host, co-host or helpers at our meetings & events.
Keep in mind that the event or activity should be cleared through the organizer before announcing it. That way we don't have conflicts with dates or type of activity.

Message board announcements - can I post on that?
If you are an active member and you want to invite others to join you for a set activity such as " Hey, anyone want to join us bowling this weekend" etc. The board is there for you to communicate with each other. However, the organizer has the right to delete any post that is not in keeping with the spirit and ideals of the group.

If you are setting up a private party - game night, wine tasting or ? again, please talk to the organizer to be sure that there are no conflicts and that you are an "active" member.
